The upper composite of the Vega launcher, carrying LISA Pathfinder, is being installed on top of the Vega launcher inside the mobile gantry, in the launcher assembly area, at Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.

The Vega launcher is largely hidden from view, with only the top of the launcher extending up through the movable access platform.

The hose attached to the top of the upper composite is connected to an airconditioning system, to regulate the environment inside the fairing.

LISA Pathfinder will launch on Arianespace flight VV06 – the sixth launch of Europe's small Vega launcher – on 2 December 2015.
