    Rosetta prepares to 'rock and roll' on the giant shaker

    Rosetta on the giant shaker at the European Space Research and Technology Centre in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. This shaker will simulate the effects of a ride into orbit on an Ariane 5 rocket.

    Rosetta will be launched on an Ariane 5 from the spaceport in French Guiana in January 2003.
