Mission operations of the Herschel space observatory continued nominally during the reporting period, with the spacecraft and subsystems all performing as expected.
Report for the period 28 August to 24 September 2011 (week 35 - week 38)
The reporting period covers four weeks of Venus Express mission operations. During this period routine planned operations were conducted at very low telemetry downlink data rates. The sixth Atmospheric Drag Experiment campaign began on 13 September and continued through to 24 September.
Report for the period 17 July to 27 August 2011 (week 29 - week 34)
The reporting period covers six weeks of Venus Express mission operations, rather than the usual four. During this period, routine planned operations at very low downlink data rates were carried out, followed by the transition into and the duration of Superior Solar Conjunction. During Superior Solar Conjunction spacecraft operations are reduced to a minimum.
