Interactive 3D model of the Ulysses spacecraft

    Watch full size flash video

The tabs to the right contain information on key elements and characteristics; the model can be rotated and viewed in all directions using the radio buttons and arrows at the bottom of the information tab.

Visible features of the spacecraft structure are listed on the model tab. The box for 'view block names', when checked, annotates the key elements. The slider can be used to progressively deconstruct (upwards) or construct (downwards) the spacecraft, layer by layer.

Note: This 3D model shows the Ulysses spacecraft with the two-section 5.6m radial boom (in front) stowed in pre-launch configuration.
