The agreement with NASA for the use of the Goldstone DSN station has been extended for 1 year until 16 December 2006. In order to promote community involvement in the mission, ESA has established an INTEGRAL User's Group whose first meeting was held in July 2005. |

| Mission Status
INTEGRAL operations continue smoothly with the spacecraft, instruments and ground segment performing nominally. The INTEGRAL Science Operations Centre (ISOC) completed its move from ESTEC to ESAC. After a period of parallel operations, ISOC operational responsibility was transferred to ESAC on 2005 February 3 coincident with the start of the AO-3 observations. |

| INTEGRAL operations continue smoothly with the spacecraft, instruments and ground segment performing well. A total of 108 proposals were received in response to the third Announcement of Opportunity for observing proposals (AO-3). The AO covers 18 months of observations from February 2005 onward and the over-subscription in requested time is about 4.1. Preparations for the move of the INTEGRAL Science Operations Centre from ESTEC to ESAC are on-schedule for the ESAC team to assume responsibility for mission planning at the start of AO-3 observations. |

| Mission Status
INTEGRAL operations continue smoothly with the spacecraft, instruments and ground segment performing well. Two of the instruments have had anomalies recently. The third INTEGRAL Announcement of Opportunity for observing proposals (AO-3) opened on 13 September 2004. The AO covers observations between 18 February 2005 and 17 August 2006 and the results will be known in December 2004. Preparations for the move of the INTEGRAL Science Operations Centre (ISOC) from ESTEC to the ESAC continue. |

| INTEGRAL Status Report - May 2004 |
| Mission Status
INTEGRAL continues to run smoothly. Preparations are under way at the ISOC for the release of the INTEGRAL AO-3. This will cover observations between 18 February 2005 and 17 August 2006. The AO is expected to open on 13 September 2004 with proposals due by 29 October 2004. The planning for the move of the ISOC from ESTEC to ESAC is continuing. Full ISOC operations will transfer to the ESAC at the start of AO-3 observations. During the transfer, ISOC will continue to fully support INTEGRAL operations ensuring that the 8-hour ToO response time is met. |

| INTEGRAL Status Report - February 2004 |
Mission Status
INTEGRAL routine operations continue to run smoothly except for an interruption due to high solar activity between 2003 October 26 to November 7, during which time the instruments were switched-off. This interval included an X28 solar flare . one of the brightest seen this century. Other than an occasional loss of a guide star due to the enhanced background and an increased amount of solar panel degradation (equivalent to about 4 months of normal operations), INTEGRAL survived the enhanced solar activity safely. |

| Integral Status Report - October 2003 |
| Integral routine operations continue to run smoothly with no major anomalies or interruptions
to the observing programme. No degradation in the spacecraft performance is evident and
there has been no loss of redundancy of any on-board system. The spacecraft design has
proved sufficiently flexible to allow the successful implementation of an on-board software
patch which gives a 25% increase in the telemetry rate, thereby mitigating the impact of the
higher than expected background counting rates. Upgrades to the ground segment necessary
to cope with the increased telemetry have also been implemented. |

| INTEGRAL Status Report - April 2003 |
| INTEGRAL routine operations are proceeding smoothly with no loss of redundancy or major
concerns. The Performance Verification phase was successfully completed on 17 December
2002, except for the Crab Nebula 'standard candle' calibration target that could not be
observed before 2003 February due to solar aspect angle constraints. While the other
instruments observed the Crab Nebula, the first in-orbit SPI annealing cycle was performed.
Both goals of the annealing were achieved, namely the cleaning of the detector system from
contamination and the annealing of radiation damage in the detector crystals. Following
annealing, SPI completed its calibration with dedicated Crab Nebula observations. |

| INTEGRAL Status Report - February 2003 |
| Integral was launched on 2002 October 17 from Baikonur Cosmodrome. The first three stages
of the Proton rocket placed Integral into a low-Earth orbit and 50 minutes later the fourth
stage placed Integral into the correct transfer orbit. A few days later, using its own fuel, four
perigee raise burns and one apogee adjust manoeuvre placed Integral into its operational orbit
with a perigee of 9000 km and an apogee of 154,000 km. |
