| No. 93 - Mission News |
| Report for Period 19 August to 25 August 2007 Routine observations took place during this reporting period, occurring as planned except for
VIRTIS operations. Three occurrences of a solar array pointing anomaly were seen over DOY
235/236, the last two leading to one of the SA motors being declared failed. |

|
| No. 92 - Mission Progress |
| Report for Period 12 August to 18 August 2007 Routine observations took place during this reporting period, occurring as planned except for VIRTIS operations. The VIRTIS movie had to be stopped due to an unexplained anomaly of the H-cooling motor current the triggered an OOL. The M unit is not affected by the anomaly as is expected to resume operations on 26 August 2007. |

|
| No. 91 - Mission Progress |
Report for Period 05 August to 11 August 2007 Routine observations took place during this reporting period, occurring as planned. The spacecraft
is nearing its closest approach to Earth, and the reduced distance allowed to sustain the highest
TM Bit Rate with HGA2 (228 kbps). |

|
| No. 90 - Mission Status |
Report for Period 29 July to 04 August 2007 Routine observations took place during this reporting period, occurring as planned.
On DOY 211 ASPERA suffered a failure to boot-up, and a complete science observation failed as
a result. |

| No. 89 - Mission Status |
Report for Period 22 July to 29 July 2007
Routine observations took place during this reporting period, occurring as planned. A second IMP calibration exercise was run between 28 and 29 July with good results. Further processing by Flight Dynamics is on-going. |

| No. 83 - End of Quadrature Phase |
| Report for Period 10 June to 16 June 2007
On the last day of the reporting period, the spacecraft's 10° +Y tilt was removed as part of the ending of the quadrature operations. The tilt in the spacecraft attitude is required during the quadrature phases to prevent unacceptable illumination of the VMC. |

|
| No. 82 - MESSENGER Flyby |
| Report for Period 3 June to 9 June 2007 This period saw Venus Express's special operations during the flyby of Venus by NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft. Two full Cebreros passes were skipped to allow for the observations which proceeded as planned. One additional Cebreros pass was shortened to 3 hours to allow for proper cooling of VIRTIS prior to the observations. |

|
| No. 81 - Swap to HGA2 |
| Report for Period 27 May to 2 June 2007 The swap from High Gain Antenna 1 to High Gain Antenna 2 took place during this reporting period, and proceeded according to plan. A single Cebreros pass was skipped to increase cooling of VIRTIS for operation. The use of "delayed TC files" as part of the quadrature operations has worked very well during this period, loading all the operations for an entire week in a single day (31 May). |

|
| No. 80 - Quadrature Operations |
| Report for Period 20 May to 27 May 2007 The quadrature operations have progressed according to plan. Some of the passes were again skipped at Cebreros during the reporting period. The use of "delayed TC files" as part of the quadrature operations has worked very well. |
