InstrumentsPEACEPrincipal Investigator: Andrew Fazakerley, UK Like CIS, this experiment also sifts incoming particles. PEACE (Plasma Electron and Current Experiment) looks at all electrons in the space plasma which have low to medium energies, counts them and measures their direction of travel and speed. The Cluster spare instrument has been split into two instruments: one sensor is on board the equatorial spacecraft and the other is on board the polar spacecraft.
