How to Get Started with PRODEX
Change Notice PRODEX Experiment Arrangement
1. Request for an increase of budget
As soon as the scientist identifies a need for an additional budget to the one defined in the P.E.A, a request with justification accompanied by a new financial plan must be submitted for approval to his/her Delegation. Once the PRODEX Office receives the authorisation by the Delegation, a Change Notice will be issued by the PRODEX Office and sent to the Institute for signature.
Please note that in the case of hardware development projects involving expenditure beyond the approved budget the request needs to be addressed directly to the Head of the PRODEX Office, who will decide upon acceptability within the frame of the Project before involving the Delegation.
2. Request for a change within the existing budget
As soon as the scientist identifies a change in the Financial Plan from Appendix 2, a justification and a new financial plan with the reshuffled costs must be submitted to the PRODEX Office for review and acceptance. Once the change request has been agreed a Change Notice will be issued by the PRODEX Office and sent to the Institute for signature.
The same procedure applies for changes such as extension of term of the P.E.A etc.
