Ongoing Rosetta activities on schedule

Kourou, French GuianaFollowing the successful deployment test of the +Y and -Y solar array wings, the Alenia team started disassembling the deployment rig used for conducting the test. After disassembly, the deployment rig will be stored into the dedicated transport container, waiting to be shipped back to Europe after the Rosetta launch.

  In the mean time, activities on the Rosetta spacecraft are continuing according to schedule, with Astrium, Alenia and ESA personnel conducting daily operations on the satellite. One of the next milestones will be the installation of the PROM cassette onboard the spacecraft.
