    LISA Pathfinder Orbit

    LISA Pathfinder will be launched into a geostationary transfer orbit. From there, it will use its own propulsion module to reach its operational orbit around the first Lagrange point (L1), about 1.5 million kilometres from the Earth towards the Sun.
