Report for week 9 to 16 July 2004The reporting period covers the sixth week of Cruise 1. The spacecraft is configured for cruise and the payload is off. The main activities of this week covered the preparation for uplink and activation of the Avionics On-Board Software version 7.

The uplink validation procedure was validated on ground using the Rosetta Engineering Model spacecraft. In the last pass of the reporting period the main part of the uplink of the patch files to the SSMM took place.

For the first time in the mission only two New Norcia passes were taken for spacecraft monitoring over the entire week, on 11 and 15 July.
