ESA Science & Technology - SMART-1 Workshop - Technology Demonstrations and Lesson Learned

SMART-1, Europe's first mission to the Moon, has completed 3 years of successful operation in September 2006. SMART-1 is the first ESA Small Mission for Advanced Research in Technology. The main goal of the programme is to prepare for planned ambitious scientific missions by testing novel technologies and techniques requiring a validation in flight. This workshop is organised in order to fully exploit the technology mission results and transfer the results to the future scientific missions and to other ESA missions.
