    Huygens on Titan

    Date: 27 Mar 2007
    Copyright: ESA

Animation showing the Huygens probe on Titan's surface after a successful descent through the moon's atmosphere on 14 January 2005. The animation starts with an actual image obtained with Huygens' DISR instrument, followed by a 360 degree rotating view over the landing site, showing the relative size and location of the Huygens probe (1.3m diameter) and surface rocks.
