The flight model sunshade is being installed on top of the solar array. The integration of the combined solar array/sunshade to the Herschel spacecraft was perfomed on Friday 11 April 2008. In front of the combined solar array/sunshade the cryostat vacuum vessel is seen, surrounded by the scaffolding.
