International Conference on Gravitation and Cosmology (ICGC2011)
ICGC is a four yearly meeting held in India, under the auspices of the Indian Association for General Relativity and Gravitation. The first ICGC was organized by the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Goa in 1987. The year 2010 marks the birth centenary of the great astrophysicist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar. ICCG2011 will also be a Chandra Commemoration Event.
Topics to be covered at the ICGC2011 conference include: Quantum Gravity, Emission and Detection of Gravitational Waves, Numerical Relativity, Cosmic Microwave Background, Dark Matter and Dark Energy, Early Universe and Large Scale Structure of the Universe, and Relativistic Astrophysics.
One of the principal endeavours in this meeting will be to maximize participant involvement, through a large number of workshop talks and posters, and informal evening discussions. The Conference will consist of plenary talks, contributed talks in workshops, and poster presentations.
