After completion of the Mercury Composite Spacecraft /Launch Vehicle Adapter (LVA) separation shock test, the clamp band is removed from the LVA in the Test Centre at ESA's European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
