Forthcoming Call - Science themes for the next two L-class missions

    27 Feb 2013

The Director of Science and Robotic Exploration will soon release a Call for White Papers, soliciting proposals for the science themes to be addressed by the two next Large (L-class) missions in ESA's Cosmic Vision plan (L2 and L3).

This solicitation for inputs from the wide scientific community is the first step in the process leading to the definition of L2 and L3, for which the planned launch opportunities are, respectively, in 2028 and 2034.

The Call for White Papers is foreseen to be released in the first week of March 2013, with a due date in the third week of May 2013.
