Venus Express on the Move
10 August 2005Venus Express has begun the final steps of its journey. Last weekend the Venus Express spacecraft was loaded onto a Antonov An-124 at Toulouse airport, France and flown to Baikonur, Kazakstan, for final preparations and launch.
Flight Acceptance Review Completed
4 July 2005Venus Express has passed a major milestone with the successful completion of the Flight Acceptance Review. Preparations are now underway to ship the spacecraft to Baikonur in early August.

Rosetta On Its Way
2 March 2004The Rosetta spacecraft is heading out into the Solar System on its 10 year journey to comet 67P/ Churyumov-Gerasimenko following a successful launch and insertion manoeuvre.
Rosetta Launch Confirmed
1 March 2004Arianespace have announced that the repairs to Ariane 5 have been completed and the launch countdown has resumed. Rosetta is now scheduled for launch at 07:16UT (08:16 CET) on 2 March 2004.

Rosetta Launch On Hold
27 February 2004The Arianespace Flight 158, with the Rosetta spacecraft on board, has been delayed for technical reasons. A piece of foam became detached from the main stage and a minor repair is necessary. Resumption of the countdown is planned for the beginning of next week.
Rosetta Launch Delayed
26 February 2004The launch of the Rosetta has been delayed for 24 hours due to poor weather at the launch site. Strong high altitude winds have forced controllers to postpone the launch until the same time tomorrow - 07:36 UT, 27 February 2004.
Rosetta Ready for Launch
25 February 2004Rosetta is now hours away from the start of its 10 year voyage to the comet 67/P Churyumov- Gerasimenko. On the afternoon of 24 February the Ariane 5 rocket rolled out to the launch platform ready for luanch at 07:36:49 UT 26 February 2004.
