ESLAB is an annual meeting organised by the European Space Agency's Directorate of Science and Robotic Exploration's Research and Scientific Support Department. This year it will be combined with the 21st Cluster workshop with broad themes focusing on the nature of space plasma physics as sampled from in-situ and remote sensing instruments.

The program will include a number of invited talks, which will give an overview of the science themes, plus a number of contributed talks.

The talks will be organized in a series of plenary sessions focusing on the following themes:

    • Heliospheric mass and energy transport: turbulence and shocks
    • Plasma interfaces, boundary layers and their dynamics
    • Global magnetospheric dynamics, substorms and driving aurorae
    • Space weather and sources of inner magnetospheric dynamics

The symposium will also feature posters.

The five day meeting will begin on Monday with a Cluster Science working Team (SWT) meeting, to which all attendees are invited.
