This image shows a composite, three-colour view of the COSMOS field, obseerved with Spitzer/MIPS at 24 micron (blue) and with Herschel/PACS at 100 micron (green) and 160 micron (red), and based on 197 hours of integration.

The field size is 2 degrees × 2 degrees, corresponding to roughly 20 times the area of the Full Moon; North is up and East to the left.
