This telescope assembly breadboard has been developed for a possible gravitational wave observatory. The telescope structure is constructed from Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic and results from an activity addressing the stringent opto-mechanical requirements of the telescope.
Technologies that could be needed for the third large-class mission (L3), addressing the theme of the Gravitational Universe, are being studied by ESA.
