ESA Science & Technology - The Extreme Universe in the Suzaku Era

The 5th Japanese satellite Suzaku (Astro-EII), in collaboration with NASA, was successfully launched on 10 July 2005. This international Suzaku conference is held to exchange the new results from the mission's first year of operations, and to exchange new ideas to deepen our understanding, and to demonstrate the promise and capabilities of Suzaku to the entire world.
