JENAM 2011 - European Week of Astronomy and Space Science

We have the pleasure to invite you to attend the European Week of Astronomy and Space Science, the now classical JENAM meeting in July 2011. The meeting will take place 4 to 8 July 2011 in Saint-Petersburg. The venue of the conference is Park Inn Hotel "Pulkovskaya". July in Saint-Petersburg is a period known as "White nights", referring to the almost non ending light close to the Solstice. It is a very privileged period of the year in this beautiful city, which is also an important centre in the European history of science. JENAM 2011 will host 9 Mini-Symposia, plenary sessions and many Special Sessions on various aspects of modern astronomy. The European Astronomical Society (EAS) general assembly and board meetings will also take place during JENAM2011. The SOC is finalizing the list of events that promises to be of the highest standard. The LOC is busy making sure that the venue and organization gives us the best possibilities for a fruitful meeting in a convivial atmosphere.
