Astronaut Gregory J. Harbaugh (solid stripe on EMU) uses remote manipulator system (RMS) as a cherry-picker device to service HST. In cooperation with astronaut Joseph R. Tanner, nearby, the mission specialist was in the process of replacing the HST's Magnetic Sensing System (MSS) protective caps with new, permanent covers.
