The JUICE Thermal Development Model (TDM) about to undergo thermal verification tests inside the Large Space Simulator at ESA's European Space Research & Technology Centre (ESTEC). During part of the tests, the TDM was illuminated and heated by a powerful Sun Simulator to verify that it can endure the effects of solar heating that the spacecraft will encounter at its closest to the Sun, during its flyby of Venus.
