Davis Cosmic Frontiers Conferences - Mining the Cosmic Frontier in the Planck Era
Start date: 21 May 2013
Address: UC Davis Conference Center, University of California, California, United States
The long-anticipated results of the Planck satellite's observations of the cosmic microwave background will soon be publicly available. They will shed light on questions related to inflation, dark matter, big bang nucleosynthesis, dark energy and more. Tightening the constraints on many cosmological parameters, they will also play an important role in the interpretation of other observational data. In May 2013 we will meet to examine data from Planck and other instruments, to consider what we are learning, and what the future may hold.
