Science Orbit Achieved

On 7 May 2006, after a series of orbital control manoeuvres, Venus Express entered its nominal science operations orbit.Throughout the remainder of the month the instrument payload commissioning activities will continue. The nominal science phase is scheduled to begin on 4 June 2006.
