EARA Workshop

The aim of this workshop is to bring together people who will use Herschel for galaxy studies, from detailed 2D maps of nearby resolved galaxies to the most distant galaxies that can be observed with Herschel.

The workshop will focus on 3 areas:

  • Expected outcomes of local galaxy studies with Herschel
  • Expected outcomes of distant galaxy studies
  • Theoretical models of galaxy evolution and emission in the infrared
