In coordination with the Herschel Science Centre (HSC), the NASA Herschel Science Centre (NHSC) is organising the Herschel Open Time Cycle-2 Observation Proposal Planning Workshop, in Pasadena, California. Originally planned for 20-21 June 2011 the meeting has been pushed forward to 21-22 July 2011. Tutorials will include background information on the observatory's instrument suite, observing modes, proposal planning tool, and the submission process, in coordination with the HSC.
