Looking at the Universe with gamma-ray eyes will tell us about:
  • the cosmic cataclysm in which the atoms we are made of are created
  • giant black holes hiding in the centre of many galaxies and their extreme activity
  • gamma-ray bursts, mysterious releases of unbelievably high energy that diappear after a few moments
  • the strange neutron stars, small and extremely compressed objects capable of releasing tremendous energy
