The Large Space Simulator is a giant thermal-vacuum chamber located at the European Space Research and Technology Centre in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. It is used to recreate the nearest thing to space conditions here on Earth. The European Space Agency uses this facility to test that its spacecraft can withstand the conditions they will encounter in space.

This panoramic image shows the INTEGRAL spacecraft inside the Large Space Simulator during its thermal-vacuum test series which ran from mid-April to early May 2002, and parts of the test centre at ESTEC.
