The workshop will address the contribution binary stars make to all aspects of nucleosynthesis. Topics that will be covered include novae, Type Ia supernovae, peculiar abundances observed in binary stars, among very metal-poor stars and in meteorite grains, binary evolution models, binary orbital parameters, and binary population synthesis.
