Lifting JWST's ISIM from the Space Environment Simulator at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center
The Integrated Science Instrument Module (ISIM) houses the four instruments of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). After having spent 116 days in a space-like environment for testing, the ISIM, fitted with all four instruments, is being lifted by crane from the thermal vacuum chamber at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
