Call for ideas for the re-use of the MARS EXPRESS Platform - update

Updated: A list of submitted proposals for the re-use of the Mars Express platform has been added.27-Mar-2001 A briefing to interested parties on the Call for Ideas for the re-use of the Mars Express platform took place at ESA Headquarters, Paris, on 23 March 2001.

Presentations on "Mars Express Reuse: Project X" and "Platform capabilities" were made to those present. These presentations describe the current configuration of the Mars Express platform, and give some details on constraints which are imposed on any mission reusing the platform.

A "Question and Answer" session at the briefing resulted in some additional information which is reproduced in the document "Call for Ideas for the re-use of the Mars Express Platform - update from the briefing".
