This is an artist's impression of the recently observed (from ground) transit of the giant planet HD 209458 in front of the parent star. ESA's Eddington mission will search for planetary transits indicative of the presence of terrestrial, habitable planets, providing for the first time evidence of the existence of other 'Earths'.
