The FOCAL-5 thermal vacuum chamber at CSL is now ready for closure, with the thermal tent fully installed around the Planck Flight Model. The gold coloured areas are thermal insulation protecting the thermal shrouds of the thermal tent (shrouds where nitrogen and helium are circulated for simulating the cold environment).
