With the spacecraft in horizontal configuration on its multi-purpose trolley, the telescope cover was removed on the morning of 26 February. This allowed for a great view of the telescope mirrors and the focal plane box.

Shortly after, the focal plane unit (FPU) cover for the HFI feedhorns - the greyish cylinder on the focal plane box, between the LFI feedhorns - was also removed in preparation of the final FPU alignment measurement.
