With the spacecraft in vertical position, the multi-layer insulation (MLI) for the outer part of the solar array is being put in place on the back of the solar array. The solar cells are facing down and are situated on the lower side of the circular array, temporarily covered by protective plates (metal disk, visible at the base of the spacecraft).
