The Solar Orbiter spacecraft in the WSA/TVA (Weltraumsimulationsanlage/Thermovakuumanlage) space simulation chamber at the IABG facility in Ottobrunn, Germany.

The spacecraft has successfully completed its thermal-vacuum tests in December 2018.

Solar Orbiter is an ESA-led mission with strong NASA participation. Airbus Defence and Space UK is the prime contractor.
