Chandra's ACIS camera also observed IC443

This image of IC443 obtained with the ACIS camera on the Chandra X-ray observatory shows a bright point of X-ray radiation which appears to be surrounded by a wake (bluish haze) of hot X-ray emitting gas. (The field of view is about 1 x 1.5 arcminutes.)
