Crossing of the terrestrial shock (magnetic field) by 4 "virtual" satellites "mimicking" the Cluster space mission in 2-D full particle simulations. The virtual satellites are coming from the solar wind (upstream) into the magnetosheath (downstream). Note the overshoot in the simulated magnetic field measurements.
