View of part of the 12-solar-cell assembly comprising 12 AzurSpace 3G30 Triple Junction solar cells inside the Vacuum Solar Cell Illumination Facility (VSCIF) at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC). Each cell has a 100 μm thick Cerium-doped cover glass with an anti-reflection coating. The stainless steel mounting plate provides reasonable thermal conductivity, minimizing the risk of cell cracking during tests. These cells were tested as part of the qualification campaign for CHEOPS solar cells.
