A 3D-projection of the Euclid payload module with its two instruments: the visual imager (VIS, top) and the near-infrared spectrometer and photometer (NISP, to the right). The telescope mirrors are located underneath the baseplate. This CAD image rendering was produced in 2017 and the similarity with the real flight assembly is striking.
