Following removal from its transport container, the Structural and Thermal Model (STM) of the BepiColombo Mercury Transfer Module is shown mounted on its multi-purpose trolley.
The primary task of the MTM is to provide solar-electric propulsion for the Mercury Composite Spacecraft (MCS) during the journey to Mercury.
