The Structural and Thermal Model (STM) of the BepiColombo Mercury Transfer Module (MTM) arriving at ESA's European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands on 13 October 2011. The MTM transport container will be cleaned and allowed to reach thermal equilibrium with the interior environment before being opened. The MTM STM has been delivered with the thermal control subsystem heat pipes and the propulsion subsystem's mechanically/thermally representative units and piping.
