The BepiColombo Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter (MMO) Structural Model arrives at ESA's European Space Research and Technology Centre in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. The spacecraft, still mounted on the base of its transport container in the 'XMM' cleanroom, awaits transfer to its handling trolley (left, painted yellow – under the lifting device, which is suspended from the overhead crane that will be used to move the spacecraft) on 8 November 2011.
The MMO is being developed and built by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
