Work being carried out on the BepiColombo flight model stack in ESA's test centre in May 2017.

Part of the 3.7m wide radiator panel on the Mercury Planetary Orbiter (MPO) fills the top half of the image. The three red oval shapes are protective covers for the three startrackers. Below, the Mercury Transfer Module (MTM) is seen. Its two solar arrays are folded on either side, each with a red protective cover in place. All covers are removed before flight.
