The top figure shows the four spacecraft measurements of the X component of the magnetic field and the ion flow from Cluster 4 (C1 - black, C2 - red, C3 - green, C4 - blue). The bottom left figure shows the three components of the magnetic field and the current density obtained from the curlometer technique during a selected interval including a current sheet crossing. The bottom right figure shows the estimated Z profile of the current density during the current sheet crossing.
