The objectives of the conference are:
- To bring together the Neutron Stars and Gamma Ray Bursts international communities to discuss recent developments and future directions.
- To enhance the networking and collaboration between the two communities of scientists.
- To foster interaction and collaboration between US and European scientists and their counterparts in the less represented regions (Africa & Asia).
- To enhance the utilization of virtual observatories and recent NASA and ESA space missions in under-represented regions.
