Getting to NEMO

The workshop will be held in the Captain's Cabin at the NEMO Science Centre, Amsterdam. This large, eye-catching green building in the shape of a ship is located close to the central train station and is easily accessible by foot or with public transport.

By foot from Amsterdam Central Station

NEMO can be reached on foot from Amsterdam Central Station in just 15 minutes. Take the station's main exit, turn left immediately and follow the 'Route Oosterdok', or NEMO, signposts.

By bus from Amsterdam Central Station

Take bus 22, 42 or 43 from Amsterdam Central Station and get out at the Kadijksplein stop. From here it is just a few minutes walk to NEMO. The buses run every 10-15 minutes. See the 'Buses in Amsterdam' link for detailed timetables.

You can buy bus tickets (strippenkaarten) at the train station, Albert Heijn supermarkets, post offices or tobacconists. If you buy the tickets on the bus they will be more expensive. See the 'Buses in Amsterdam' link for further details about strippenkaarten.

By car

There are a number of parking garages in the vicinity of NEMO. Some offer a discount for NEMO visitors. For further details see the "To NEMO by car" link.

Lunches and refreshments
